NSHD Postal Questionnaire (2022)
What is the purpose of this study?
For most people, health changes gradually with age, often in subtle ways that we scarcely notice. We have already studied those changes by comparing the measures of health taken throughout your early life, and in adulthood. From these we learned a lot about the processes of ageing, building on our knowledge of how factors across life influence health and function.
We are looking to update our records from what we collected in the 2014 postal questionnaire.
What does the study involve?
The study will involve completing a questionnaire (online or postal) about health, family and social life. It should take about 45 minutes.
Answering the questionnaire is voluntary. Questions can be skipped over if you cannot answer or would prefer not to answer.
Who will be invited?
We are inviting participants from the MRC National Survey of Health and Development (NSHD) to complete the 2022 Questionnaire. Email invitations for an online version of the questionnaire will be sent to anyone who indicated on the 2022 Birthday Card reply slip a preference for an online questionnaire.
We have set up a frequently answered question (FAQ) pages for our study members.
The online questionnaire can be accessed by clicking on the link below. You will need the unique ID, which can be found on your invitation letter or email.
